How To See Your House, Streaming Live, On Your PC!

It's very possible to see your own home live on the Internet, and many people are asking, how can I see my house live?. Most people think of using Google Earth, which is not live, or yahoo messenger can be used to remotely monitor your home but it's not the same, but with so many webcams on our planet, its easily possible, and if you do your research very carefully, you can find your home streaming live on the Internet for all the world to see! The UK has the largest amount of CCTV cams. {see video on right} and it's estimated that on an average journey, {my daily movements} will be captured on camera at least 400 times, so the chances for me to find a webcam over-looking mine or a friends home was possible. The USA comes second in the amount and availability of CCTV and live streaming cams online!

The image right is a webcam I found close to my previous apartment. The red arrow points to the road where I used to live which is about 90 yards opposite that church!. I now live about 700 yards from this This Cam! - If it was panned 30 degrees more, my apartment would have been live on the Internet! This cam refreshes/updates images every 5-10 minutes!

I'm always on the look-out for newer and nearer cams online! These could be traffic-cam feeds which are online and available to view in most countries! or security cams from popular nearby clubs, pubs or shops. There are so many home owners who stream their home security cams online, most are available for anyone to view! Like this security cam in someones home which points towards a car park yet over-looks many house's. Someone in your street will possibly have a webcam that's not always visible which keeps an eye on their property, garden or garage. This cam could overlook your home and be live on the Internet!

Earthcam is the first place to search. Just type the words of your choice. Use keywords such as the area you live in and adding keywords like, streaming. live webcam and live feeds. There may be webcams where you live but not streaming! The more webcams you can find on the net, the more chance you have to turn your PC into a CCTV system to the entire world!

I hope this has inspired you to look for live cams of what you want to see and realize that you and your home could be on the Internet, live for all the world to see!

NOTE: You may need to install additional plugins to view cams. - For best streaming results, a decent broadband connection and PC specifications is required. Having said that, even if you have the best PC specifications s in the world, some webcams are not streamed as fast as others, but im sure you will find some great places to visit with a click of a mouse! If you have problem viewing cams or installing the required plug-ins, try using another browser.

Remember! Next time your doing something somewhere you should, or should not be doing! don't forget to smile:) The chances are, you will probably be on camera, somewhere! and your activities may even end up on YouTube for the world to see again, and again and again.

Search for any live cam that you want and I guarantee...ish, you will find it! :)
