Internet Explorer, Its the most common browser used. Many people think there are no others! But there are and much better! So, what is the fastest browser? What is the best browser? These questions are very common, but they have many uncommon answers.
What IS the Best Browser? What's good for the Goose may not be good for the Gander! Let's say John and Jane test drive every available browser. John may decide that Firefox is the best browser while Jane is sure that Internet Explorer is the best. Who is correct? Answer: Both! That's because the best browser is the one that meets your needs and those of your PC. It's all about individual preference which is also represented by the comments at the bottom of this page.
Browsers Are Like Vehicles: in as much as you want to travel fast, securely and in style with lots of cool features. Test drive each browser and observe its performance. Having a Variety of browsers installed on your PC makes using the Internet easier. Because all browsers are not compatible with every website you visit. Most times you won't even realize what your not seeing. Browsers also have tools and other gimmicks that are unique. What ever you decide, never uninstall browsers that you don't use. It's best to keep them for a rainy day when you have problems with the ones you are using. If you decide to switch to another, I recommend that you never uninstall 'Internet Explorer' from your PC because it is an integral part of your computer. Having numerous browsers installed on your PC is not a problem provided you have enough disc space!
How To Make Your Browser Faster: Remove unwanted applications that you don't use. Clear your Internet cache files regularly. Reduce your browser plug-ins, Spy-ware and Ad-ware. Disable images within the browser settings, especially if you are only using them for script-based searches. Turn off flash, Java, images and sound, etc. Close tool bars and other programs when not in use which is very useful if you're one of the remaining few dial-up users! or instead of turning off individual features from your favorite browser, try selecting another browser and turn off all the features you don't use. This will enable faster page loading and provide more time for surfing/researching. You can simply switch to your existing browser when you need to. Or, you could use a great program I highly recommend, 'Turbo Your PC''. It does so much more than just improving your systems performance, it will quick-fix your registry, gain disc space including invalid file fixes and so much more. Turbo Your PC Here.

Quick Reviews. - The Top 5 Most Used Browsers- Firefox - Internet Explorer - Opera - Safari and Chrome - Whats best? You decide!
Mozilla Firefox
Firefox
Firefox has a tabbed interface, pop-up blocker/built-in multiple search tools and built-in RSS reader. It handles nicely, and its always stable. The spell check for text boxes uses the familiar dotted colored lines under words although the others also have this feature. If you need an extension for something, the Firefox extension capabilities are powerful and easy to use. It also offers many themes. I have been using Firefox since day one and, compared to the others, it is in a class by itself -- although Opera does come extremely close. Firefox, as well as all other browsers, can be downloaded, installed and run in conjunction with any existing browsers you have. Firefox 8 beta version is also available.
Supports all Windows 98 to XP & Vista: Mac OS X and several varieties of Linux and Red Hat Linux 8.0.
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer 9 is a major improvement to IE8 -- and about time, too! For such a popular browser, it's losing its popularity every day, but it is still one of the most popular browsers. It has a new navigation bar and a better design. It has tabbed browsing. The addition of its zoom function at the bottom of each page is very useful. Although the “find next” tool is still weak, it has an impressive range of plug-ins. IE9 has great improvements in security and new features compared to IE8. A great browser to download Firefox with!. IE10 now available.
Supports: Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) - vista compatible.

You can do everything from home PC to mobile, Surf the full Web on your smart phone or PDA. It's very cool. The progress bar on the address bar lets you see pages loaded from the site. Overall, it's a very good looking browser, performs very well and is a must have to your arsenal of browsers.
Supports: All Windows OS including windows Vista.. Solaris Sparc.. Solaris Intel... QNX... OS/2.. MacOS.. Linux Sparc.. Linux Power PC... Linux i38..6 FreeBSD i386 ...BeOS
Safari
Safari
Safari is a webkit based browser native on all Apple products, it also has a PC version though most PC users tend to choose Firefox as the main alternative to Internet Explorer.
Safari excels on Apple computers because it links very well with the mac's other applications which makes it an easy natural choice. Sending email links or live web pages couldn't be easier. The history function is also very helpful as it uses (iTunes style) cover-flow to scan through large thumbnails of the pages you have visited. It's particularly useful when you can't remember the name of a URL but can remember an image or what it looks like.
Supports: Mac and PCs.
Google Chrome
Google Chrome
Google's new web browser "Google Chrome" is fast, has lots of cool features and has a great chance of competing with the most popular browsers of today. Click on the link below to view information about Chrome.
Supports: Windows XP, Vista and 7

well, i used Firefox and chrome and opera, on my netbook!! and i can say chrome is just awesome really!!
I mostly use Comodo Dragon, wich is a Chromium based webbrowser, made by Comodo, a company for antivirus software. Wich makes Dragon extreemly safe to use!
FIREFOXXXX
As a website builder I say best are Mozilla Firefox and Opera with a little comeback from IE. As user I preffer Opera just because of 2 freatures I adore : Magic Wand and Sessions. Non browser is perfect as most of them have bugs displaying certain HTML code. They interpret HTML as the developers who implemented the browsers viewed the code. It's a long story but if you like. Just test them and use what you like. We web developers will - at least most of us - try to make websites be universal.
undoubtedly Firefox is the best other has stolen its features or taken ideas from it. I initially used IE then moved to opera but once i started using Firefox in never turned to other, since last 2003 till date.
firefox
IE
Opera
chrome
other i don't know, neither want to try.
d best search engine is Google similarly
d best browser is Google Chrome
i use all the 5 main browsers and to put them in order of best to worst
#1 opera its hand geusters, widgets, plugins and pure smothness is just amazing to use
#2 chrome its cool and fast but looks a bit lame you can change its skin but also its really just not smooth but it has good apps which is a winner
#3 firefox crashes like always (chrome dose too) and dosn't have that many special features but looks good and is easy to use
#4 internet explorer not very attractive but works great very decent browser though
#5 safari its just crap can't use it even though it downloads quite fast its just really stupid and hard to use also the text just looks blare
google chrome is the best
i use all the major common browsers and i consider safari as the best......and nothing else.....try it you 'll surely like it.
If you plan on using opera, there is some things you have to do.
1 Turn off plug-ins (allow them to run when you say so)
--Settings-Preferences-Advanced-Content-enable plug-ins only on demand
2 Go back to Advanced-Network-Server Name Completion-Uncheck Look for local network machine
3 Advanced-Browsing-Loading-Redraw Instantly
4 Advanced-Shortcuts-Enable Single Key Shortcuts
help.opera.com/Linux/9.52/en/keyboard.html
There is a new sessions feature, be sure to use that. You may want to learn hand gestures.
I was reading through the comments to get to know what one is really the best server
Turns out everyone says something else xD..
I think Chrome is all the time favorite in this time:-*
BEST BROWSERS:
LUNASCAPE - it's a triple-engine browser from japan and it's fast.

was drawn towards opera as a change to what i use now(ie9) but looking at all these reviews its obvious there is no clear winner just try all for yourself.....saying that after looking at all these comments i might just read a book.
I keep going inbetween Chrome and Safari! I think I juuuust prefer Chrome now but I still really like the top pages bit of Safari...
Actually, my default browser is avant browser not ie .the dual-core browser of avant is so cool. There are no other options.so I have to choose IE .BTY, chrome and firefox are very good but they take up too much CPU so they are not the best browser for me.
I think the best browser is Avant Browser .no crash, no memory leaks. The speed is very fast .very good
i used
Safari
chrome
crazy
dillo
monkey
and
slim browser is fastest browser
slim
Firefox all the way... ;)
For me, Firefox is HOT, HOT, HOT!
My favourite is Chrome, but I have come across some compatibility issues where I had to use IE. It seems whatever we do, sooner or later we depend on Microsoft.
On windows :
update version
1.Mozila firefox 8.1.0
2.Maxthon3
3.Opera 11.60
4.Sea monkey
5.Double browser
I prefer Firefox simply because of all the addons it supports.
Glad to find these pages.......LUNASCAPE downloaded perfectly ..... CHEERS !.
SeaMonkey.
Chrome
Maxthon3
Firefox
Safari
Meta browser... Chrome is 1/3 the speed of it.
Jeez! I thought there was only 3 browsers available so this page is very much appreciated.
Thnakyou.
;)
Opera is better than IE
1- IE 10 the best
2- Firefox 8
3- Google chrome
4- Opera
I hate Safari, I use Firefox
1. CHROME
2.FIREFOX
THIS IS JUST WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!! THANKS!!
I always used Firefox up until version 4, it looked cool and all with the new user interface but for some reason it kept going non responsive lots of times and it wasn't just my computer, went to Google Chrome after that and never went back.
Im already download all those browsers with the newest versions but im still confuse what browser should i use.. my opera can't work grreatly on FlashGames on Facebook.. TT^TT .. Safari has my favorite strong bold text but it can't open FlashGames and its dun have the metal-theme on newest version.. damn Apple.Inc
I like Firefox but I hate the simple fact that Norton Security is incompatible with all of Firefox's latest versions. I got to have some type of additional security on my PC, so with that being said, I will be trying something new. Opera perhaps.
My choice goes this way.
1) Opera
2) Chrome
Rest of the browsers are all Crap. Don't go by the biased reviews on the Internet.
Try for yourself before coming to a conclusion, I am sure that you will agree with me after that.
In my opinion, on Windows XP
1. Firefox
This has been my browser for so long I can't help it. I love the add-ons, and costomizables.
2.Google Chrome
I personally love Google and surfing the web (and Angry Birds)so, this browser works for my also extreme add-ons.
3. Opara
Personally, other than Nintendo Wii and DSi, I've never trried it but I here it can be for Windows and I'd probably use it more than IE.
4. Internet Explore
Crappy, slow speed. on the bright side, has a collection of add-ons. I only keep this for when a game or important toolbar only works on IE
5. Safari
I admit I love it for the iPod Touch and it's waaaay better than IE but the reason it's at #5 is because I don't know if it's even for a Windows!
firefox is the best browser
I have happily been a Firefox user from day one. Their add ons are real time savers, the tabs were a great innovation, and there is that handy "view page in IE" feature that gives a second look at problem pages.
That being said I am about to bail on Firefox because the last to upgrades have given me nothing but trouble. Nine wouldn't even load except in safe mode and eight was so incompatible with Facebook, I had to install a third party "Stylish" to more or less straighten it out.
I finally disabled automatic update and went back to version 5 (because I couldn't find a copy of v.6.)
Five works fine, but AVG keeps sending me messages that it is taking up too much RAM. I would be gone to Safari or Chrome or Opera by now, except that there are two or three add ons I don't feel I can live without.
east or west firefox is the best,...........
because it light and comfortable
According to my point of view.....
1.chrome
2.opera(because i like opera mini for my mobile the most..
3.firefox
4.explorer
5.safari
Opera....
I think the best is Chromium Plus
Opera is the best... the content blocker KILLS all the 'ad-words' that slow down page loading/rendering
Opera is for smart users i think... you can customize most of the shit and more... but like one below said "IE9 for secure transactions" for anything else... opera is the ONLY option.. it doesnt need addons (And yet you can add them...? never tried... never needed :D ) it runs very nice...
firefox is good if you are on linux and you dont have any other browser installed... else, firefox is very obsolete... and its not so 'secure' as many think.. you would wonder if you go to cnet and do a little research... (nothing is secure by default, but you will find some shitty unsecure stupidity if you do your homework)
google's chrome's browser? Yea as it says... its their (google) browser... so they add you a LOT of control... its like going to the police to tell them you will kick their asses the next monday... i will never use google's chrome... i preffer using lynx links or not browse at all...
Also, i dont know why many people added 'safari' as a better option than opera... thats like saying cygwin would be better than the native libs just because 'i like how does it sounds!!'
Finally:
#1 Opera
#2 some others
#3 ie
#4 anything else
#5 chrome
PS: As far i know, opera IS NOT powered by firefox... firefox is 'powered' by mozilla if you like to say... the only thing in common i think.. is that nsplugin library.. only that...
So please dont say shit, Opera is the best browser ever... at least if you preffer total control and speed over lot of useless addons/themes/etc.
I Must say, firefox was awesome and it stills being awesome... but please... unless all your life is tied to google's mf... dont say that chrome crap is betther than ff,ie,Opera, and so on.

I like Google Chrome for its fast browsing, easy to use features, cool design and cool extensions, however; I see Google Chrome has few and crucial issues. First of all, it crashes. Each site you open, it considers to be a new process and takes a lot of memory resulting in system hang...So I think if google chrome can fix these issues, it will undoubtedly be number one browsers.
